This Privacy Policy explains how the Apex Martial Arts member app (the “App”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information. The App is operated by Apex Martial Arts (“we”, “us”, “our”) on the MartialMembers platform. We are the data controller for the information described below.

We keep your personal information for as long as you have an active account. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data as described in our Account Deletion page. Certain records — such as payment, tax, and waiver/injury-liability records — may be retained for up to 7 years where required by law, in a form that no longer identifies you.

Our service is used by martial arts schools whose members include children. Accounts for under-18s are created and managed by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for consenting to the processing of their child's information through their household account.
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and review our practices regularly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do, and significant changes may be highlighted in the App.
